How an order runs

  1. Your requisition

    Send the list in your own format, with the vessel, the date and where it will be.

  2. Quoted line by line

    Brand, pack size and quantity for every item. If something is unavailable, the quote shows the alternative.

  3. Packed against your list

    Every line is checked off before the truck is loaded.

  4. Signed for on handover

    Your crew signs the delivery note. Anything short is written on it.

Our other trade is ship repair

PrimeStar teams carry out mechanical, electrical, piping and steel work on vessels in Singapore shipyards.

Where our four repair trades work on a ship A side profile of a representative tanker. Mechanical: the engine room, main engine, shafting and propeller. Electrical: the switchboard and the cable runs to the bridge and the bow. Piping: the deck pipelines, the cargo manifold and the ballast line.   • Engines, pumps, shafting and valves, overhauled and refitted.

  • Cabling, switchboards and panels, motors and lighting.

  • Pipe renewal, spool fabrication and fitting, pressure testing.

  • Steel renewal on hull and decks, welding, fabrication, blasting and painting.

A yard job starts when the scope is agreed and ends when it is signed off. We run provisions orders the same way.
